Multi-Media Journalist

WPTA-TV in Fort Wayne, Indiana is accepting applications for the position of Multi-Media Journalist. We want to hear from you because you are aggressive in your approach to your work. You can shoot, write, edit stories for on-air and on-web.
Show us that you write and present stories that are clear, factual, creative in their approach and show human interest; that you can write stories in multiple formats and be ready to present live on location or live in the studio. The position could include substitute anchoring. You strive to beat the competition with every breath. You want to contribute more than what the desk assigns. You research ideas and follow up on stories.
Pressure? You work great under pressure and can adjust to the often fast paced and changing nature of news. You can make smart decisions independently as well as in a group setting. You work closely with others on our staff to develop the brand and grow the product. You use your strong social media skills to reach out to viewers.
You also have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
